can you introduce us to your company?
What do you appreciate the most about FiveForty°?
JM: The ability to understand who we are, our constraints,
our business rhythm and therefore their adaptability to this
very fluid environment.
Julien Martel: Erytech is a bio-pharmaceutical company at
the clinical stage, developing innovative therapies in rare of
cancer forms and so-called orphan diseases. We manufacture
medicines whose efficacy and tolerance we evaluate on the
patient groups to whom they will be intended.
At the clinical stage…?
JM: Yes, these are assessment levels called phases, generally
numbered I to III, the latter consisting in comparing the efficacy
of the treatment in comparison with the standard treatment.
Afterwards, there is also a phase IV, corresponding to tests post
MA, the marketing authorization.
What were your expectations before starting this collaboration?
JM: For a year already, Dynamics 365 FO was in place in the company for the finance part. The initial integrator, however, did not meet our expectations in terms of monitoring and flexibility. Therefore, we looked for a more nimble structure offering true custom-made that would meet the expectations of our various businesses as closely as possible. A truly personalized offer was therefore our very first criterion.
How did you come to work with FiveForty°?
JM: We first carried out a test with the presence of a consultant
for ten days of time boxing * in our Lyon premises. On the first
day, a list of topics were provided to him with an achievement
report required at the end of the ten days. Within the given time limit, we realized that a response was provided for every need we stated. Either directly through the right solution, or through a consistent and effective estimate of what had to be done to resolve the issue.
In the end, what motivated your choices?
JM: The imposed "trial period" was most convincing.
It unblocked in ten days topics that had been hanging around
by us for months and which bothered our business users.
What first balance can you draw from this collaboration?
JM: We now have the trusted partner on whom to lean on.
And beyond the "quick win" support of the beginning of our relationship, we now entrust them with development and deployment projects. We have in front of our professionals experts who allow us to set-up a system that meets our requirements.

What do you think are areas for improvement that you could consider?
JM: Regularly, every six months or so we carry out balances focused on improving of relationship. Likewise, we do communicate rather quickly when something is not to our liking. Whether in one direction or the other. It is thus hard to answer this question when continuous improvement is a process already in place.
If you had to recommend FiveForty°, what would you say?
JM: Choosing FiveForty°, it’s choosing efficiency. They bring value to Erytech where it is required.
