The bear and the princess
“My childhood in Tunisia was not run-of-the-mill. Until I was six years-old, we didn’t have a house…”, remembers Nermine. After arriveing in France a few months ago, she quickly finds a position at FiveForty°.

The IT Bug
During a first professional experience in Tunisia, with a publisher of insurance
market dedicated solutions, the computing bug takes hold of the young woman.
She has found her way. However, the want of a double qualification brings her
to study project management. In her view, management and IT are as much
indissociable as complementary. After being named valedictorian of her class
and obtaining her degree in management computing, Nermine will soon complete
her cycle of studies with the defense of her master thesis in strategic management
and consulting.
Joining 540°
When one joins an IT services company whose business consists in deploying ERPs,
one wishes that your own integration in the enterprise will ideally happen.
“From my first interview with Alexandre, I perceived this was a field favorable to
motivation at work. For me, working with passion is simply capital. When you feel
right somewhere, you work better. When you heart agrees, everyone is a winner”
underlines Nermine. Three months after her integration with FiveForty°, that she
judges to have been perfectly fluid and successful in all respects, Nermine
remembers feeling welcome as soon as she arrived. She appreciates the people-oriented
and accessible side of everyone as well as the team and sharing spirit:
“If one of us finds a new feature at Microsoft, it is shared with the others.
It’s professional and friendly at the same time.”
A princess childhood
“We did not have a house of our own up to age six, as my father was the general
manager of a chain of major hotels in Tunisia. That’s where we lived. So, I spent
my time at the pools, surrounded by superb backdrops playing, meeting foreign
children, immersing while having fun in a thousand and one cultures.” On her
mother’s side, an evening gown stylist, she created for her magnificent princess
dresses. Bliss for a little girl. And, as if to complete this fairy tale, Nermine
remembers: “Even my beautiful white horse’s name was Prince”, she smiles,
recalling her rides with him, in the water, along the golden beaches of Hammamet.
One last dream
These days, well anchored in the present and turned to the future, Nermine has for
herself the goal of deepening her knowledge of the D365 solution to go beyond just
project management and evolve towards consulting in her PMO specialization:
“Microsoft solutions keep evolving constantly, so to master them, it’s to guarantee
my own development into consulting.” Before returning to her current tasks,
Nermine confides to us a dream she prefers to remain unrealizable: to hug a polar
bear! Nothing less.°
