Change of climate

Used to being surrounded by her relatives, by the very Tunisian benevolence of her

friends and colleagues, arriving in Paris in 1993 reveals a new, much colder universe.

Isolated, forced to make ends meet, with a husband who is very busy in R&D, Amel

goes back to study. She obtains a DEA [In-depth Studies Degree ou bien Masters] in

finance at Jussieu university while doing odd jobs left and right. Her philosophy of

life rewards her. She knows that hardships can turn into riches. She wants to

constantly discover, seeking to improve professionally and broaden the field of her

centers of interest.

With a wealth of experience in auditing and other positions of responsibility, her CV

becomes richer and richer. Her culinary knowledge too. A new passion is born.

After that of accounting, she sets for herself the challenge of new recipes.

Among her prides, the veal blanquette, the Navarin lamb stew, without forgetting

the rabbit with mustard that she adds to the couscous of Sundays and holidays.

Another trait of Amel is her attraction to international environments. CFO in a

software company, subsidiary of a German group in Leipzig, she travels a lot.

For ten years, great people surround her. Colleagues from everywhere are

becoming friends with whom she keeps in touch. After a few years, the company

changes systems and switches to the Dynamics AX ERP. Amel becomes then

responsible for the France project. After its deployment, Amel chooses to go into

consulting. She meets the future management team of FiveForty°. It clicks with

each of them. Amel will find them all later. In May 2019, she joins FiveForty° as a

senior finance consultant. Maciré, Ahmed and Théo are already at work.

She, coming from the profession is very quickly at ease with the accounting and

financial auditors of the customer. At FiveForty°, she loves the human qualities that
